FAQs
What does "brand strategy" actually mean?
Brand strategy defines what your organisation stands for, who it needs to matter to and how it should position itself. It gives leaders and teams a shared basis for making decisions about the brand, from services and initiatives to partnerships, communications and growth.
How do we know if we need a brand strategy?
You may need a clearer strategy if the organisation has grown, changed direction or become difficult to explain. Other signs include teams working from different assumptions, inconsistent decisions, weak differentiation or an existing strategy that no longer reflects what the organisation has become.
Who needs to be involved?
Anyone who knows the business well and can make decisions. Usually that's a founder, CEO, or marketing lead. We'll need their time for a few workshops and reviews. If too many people are involved, things slow down, so usually just a few key people from across the business.
What will be different after this?
Leaders and teams will have a clearer understanding of where the organisation stands, what it should prioritise and how future decisions should support the brand. The strategy becomes a shared reference point rather than something each team interprets differently.
